Latest New Building Project Update

All the interior doors are hung. They are working on installing the kick plates and other door hardware. The doors look great. Linda finished waxing the first floor rooms. The hallway will be done at a later date. Final walk through of all flooring took place on Friday. The staff has begun moving some items into their rooms.

Reminder last day of school is this Wednesday. Fr. Toale will be leading the decommissioning ceremony at 11:30 that day. All are invited to attend.

Check with Peter or me Wednesday afternoon to see if we need anymore help setting up for the auction. The auction starts at 10:30 Saturday morning. Please plan on attending and bring along everyone you know. I’m not sure how long the auction will last, but if we have lots of helpers in attendance I’d like to start stripping some of the interior landfill items after the auction.

March Building Project Update:

The construction of the new school addition is progressing nicely. The majority of the interior painting has been completed. Installation of the electrical wiring is finished. Installation of the data/technology wiring is 25% complete. Masons are making excellent progress bricking the exterior of the building. Installation of the fire sprinkler system has begun. Work continues on the mechanical, plumbing, and heating. Thank you for your continued support and prayers!

December Building Project Update

The roof has been completed and the windows have been installed. The building is now weather tight. Work is being done on running the boiler lines and other aspects of the mechanical system. The masons will begin working on finishing the second floor interior walls after the first of the year. We are also working on determining colors for the walls and flooring. November Building Project Update:

All first floor walls have all been constructed. Second floor support walls have been constructed and roof trusses are currently being installed. The roof should be completed within the next two weeks. Windows will be installed sometime within the next two weeks as well. Once the building is enclosed all second floor walls will be completed and heating and electrical work will begin.
