The Aquin Catholic Elementary School Scrip Program

Picture this: You make your usual weekly visit to the grocery store. You fill your cart as always-with fresh fruit or frozen french fries, tenderloin or tofu - and head up front to check out. Your purchases are scanned and bagged, you get your total, and you pay your $100. Guess what? You just made $5 for your kids' system. On the way home you pick up a video ( S & K Video) or pizza (Happy Joe's) There's another $1.10 for and your Religious Education program.

It's as easy as 1..2..3:

1. You fill out your Scrip order form.

2. Stop at Pearl's Place, Security State Bank, Tri-County Bank or the Aquin office and have your order filled as you wait.

3. Pay face value for your certificates and then do your shopping. Have fun.

The Aquin System has implemented a program where families of the Aquin System would receive tuition credit when Scrip is purchased in their name only. This includes Aquin Elementary, CCD and RTR.

The amount received would be 25% of the PROFIT the System receives. For instance, if a business gives the System 10% credit of $100 of Scrip purchased (equals $10) the family would have 25% or $2.50 credited towards their tuition. Since each individual business gives a different percentage, the amount of profit will vary according to the business and the quantity purchased. See the order form for individual percentages.

When you purchase Scrip, THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INDICATED ON THE ORDER FORM:

The name of the family and phone number/account number of who you want to receive credit. (IF NO NAME IS INDICATED ON THE FORM OR NO FORM IS USED, THE CREDIT WILL GO TO THE GENERAL FUND. NO EXCEPTIONS)

Tuition credit will accumulate until the 3rd quarter of the school year and this amount will be credited towards the current school year's tuition. Further credits will then begin accumulating towards the next school year's tuition. Credit can be accumulated for use of future Aquin System students. If a family leaves the Aquin System, credit will expire after two years and will be returned to the general fund.

We ask you to encourage grandparents, relatives and friends to purchase Scrip throughout the year in your name since it will help reduce tuition costs for you and also help the Aquin System.

This is a win-win opportunity for families and the Aquin System. Thank you for supporting Scrip.
